Comparision of difference assemble method of angular contact bearing:

The contact Angle of the bearing is diffused along the axis of the rotary axis when the back to back (the wide end face of the two bearings) is installed, which can increase the bearing Angle rigidity of radial and axial direction and the maximum deformation resistance.

Face to face (the narrow end face of the two bearings), the contact Angle of the bearing is convergent towards the axis of rotation, and the Angle of the bearing is less rigid.

Because the inner ring of the bearing extends out the outer ring, when the outer ring of the two bearings is pressed together, the original clearance of the outer ring is eliminated, which can increase the preloading charge of the bearing;

In tandem arrangement (the wide end face of two bearings is in one direction), the contact Angle of the bearing is parallel to and parallel, so that the two bearings can share the working load in the same direction.
